Once, a clever singer and his group of eleven colleagues were leaving a foreign country after making a fortune. They had to go through forests and villages day and night, stopping for a little respite whenever necessary.
One night, they just so happened to walk through a woodland where a group of bandits were hiding out. They made every effort to sneak through the jungle quietly, but the dacoits eventually found them and halted them. Additionally, they demanded that they show all of their assets, but the businessman refused.
The dacoits then threatened to take their possessions to their more vicious and barbaric boss if they didn't tell what they owned. Even at that point, the businessman and his partners kept their information to themselves. The robbers begin to follow them to their chief while furious.
The singer only became aware that they were twelve while the robbers were only four when they were moving through the jungle. A thought suddenly entered his head. As the drum hits one, two, and three, three on each would set the world free, he began to beat the drum and sang. The dacoits mocked his song and dismissed it as silly, but his friends were perceptive enough to understand the message. The singer was actually assuring his companions that because they were exactly three times as many as the dacoits, they could defeat each of them individually.
Three of the group members overwhelmed each dacoit and beat them black and blue on the count of three drumbeats. The robbers were startled by the new event and fled, freeing the singer and his band. They all talked about how their solidarity provided them the power to defeat dangerous bandits as they made their way back to their homes.
